Prime Rib holding time

I am cooking a 20lb. prime rib for Christmas. I will be taking it across town. How long can I keep it in a cooler and still expect it to be hot. I will foil it and wrap with towels. I'm trying to figure how long it will take to cook. I plan on cooking it to 125 internal. I'm going to set up for indirect at 325 grate. Do you think 4 hours will do it?

4 hours should get you close...hard to get timed cooks. I just did a 9 pound prime rib..cooked at 275 in 41/2 hours it was a perfect 130 deg. If you use a small cooler, put some boiling water in it first to get it warm, dump the water, wrap meat in foil and a towel, will stay warm for a couple of hours at least.zl
