Which Cherry Variety Should I plant for Smoking Wood

I have an old house with a large lot.  I have an Oak tree, several Maple trees, Apple, Peach, Pear, and Dogwood trees.  Seems like the only trees missing for a smoking wood source are Cherry, Pecan, and Hickory.

Is there a particular variety of Cherry I should plant for my future smoking wood supply?  The fruit would be a bonus, although the birds would probably get the most of that!

I think I can smoke forever with some well-planned pruning!
