The nakedwhiz plans show a distance of 12.5 " shelf to shelf . Their paver is flush with the top of the bottom shelf.
The Big green egg plans also show a distance of 12.5" shelf to shelf , but caution you to be sure to use a 2" paver under the egg.
So how far should it be from the bottom of the egg to the top of the table top ?

Measured mine and I have 14" from the bottom shelf to the top of the table but the 2" paver is sitting on the bottom shelf not flush. The measurement from the paver to the top shelf is 12". I could have used the extra .5 had to trim a bit off the back of the table to keep the hinges from hitting.

Ok, mine is 13" from the bottom of egg to the top of the table top. But I have a notch in the back so the hinges can drop below the table top. They drop 2" below the top when the lid is open.Packerland, Wisconsin
