Some people asked for the recipe at the 14th Annual Eggtoberfest so here it is...

Flank Steak (This marinade is for 1 to 1.5 pound steak, but will work for 1 or 2 steaks in a Zip-lock bag)

1/2 Cup Soy Sauce

1 large Garlic Clove, minced

1 t-Spoon ground Ginger

2 Table Spoons Brown Sugar

2 Table Spoons Lemon Juice

2 Table Spoons Olive Oil

1 Table Spoon minced Onion (dried)

1/4 t-Spoon Black Pepper

Combine all marinade ingredients in bowl and wisk. Score steak lightly cross grain in diamond pattern. Marinate for 24 hours.

Heat Egg to 700-800 (hot as you can get it). Place steak on grill and
cook for 2.5 minutes, turn and cook for 2.5 minutes, remove steak and
let rest for two minutes, return to grill for 2-3 minutes, remove and
allow to rest for 5 minutes. Cut across grain at 45 degree angle in thin
strips.

Goes well with long grain wild rice and Asparagus.
