I need to buy a Maverick tomorrow. which one is most commonly used by the members here?  I have one but its packed away in my pod and im gonna do a couple butts Monday. 

Is the et 73 the one that has dual probes? one for the meat one for the dome?

You will want the Maverick ET-732 which is their newest and best one.  I have it and it works great.  Do a Google search and you will see most people highly recommend it.

ET-732 is real good i use it .

 

you are going to be so happy first time you are makeing PP and you can check your meat AND how hot your bbq is and not even get out of bed

i got mine from Ebay and got it in 9 days from usa to Denmark.

The et 73 does have two probes but it is an older model the et 732 is the latest.I still use the et 73 you can only go 100 ft. away before you lse signal

I have the ET-73 as well.  It hasn't died yet so I haven't upgraded.  I have only heard good about the ET 732.  I love mine and wouldn't cook without it.  OK, "I could" but there is just that extra peace of mind that an OCD'er like me can enjoy.

I want the 732 bad - but every site I find that carries it says they are out of stock or backordered. Does anyone else have any suggestions for a dual probe wireless unit?

I'm a Hoser...and Amazon.ca doesn't carry it. I admit, I could look harder or have Amazon.com ship to one of my Yankee Friends

Although, of the 12 sites or so I have found that carry it, this is the first one having any in stock. I guess because Amazon just orders from other companies. So I need to look harder - or just wait for he Canadian companies to stock it.
