Band Adjustment

I am constantly having to re-adjust the bands on my xl. this time they have slipped one half inch after only one use. I am tightening them very well, but they still slip. Anybody?

    Are you tightening them until the bolt bends? Way past what your elbow torque meter says it should be. you can't break the ceramic.

    My bolts on my XL are cranked so tight that they literally look like the letter "C".
    I've also double-bolted them so they never loosen. My bands have never slipped.
