The hotels are about 10-15 minutes from the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Here is a link:

Most of the major chains are mentioned. There is no host hotel. I personally like the Marriott chain...like others we will be camping at the race track. Either way it will be a blast.

Don't lie Doc, you know it was awesome!
  • We stayed at the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel and it was really nice (great service, nice rooms). It is 20 mins from the track, but it was worth it. It is a 4 star hotel and we got it for $79 a night. It has a balcony about 200 yards from the runway and it was awesome watching the planes land and take-off. You can't hear the planes once you close the door to the balcony. Really quiet. Their breakfast buffet is really good also. We have stayed there a few times when we are in Atlanta and it is our hotel of choice there.
Love me some maple.  Go Canadians.

I stayed at the Comfort Suites McDonough last year and there is an adjacent Comfort Inn and a Hilton Garden across the street. I'm thinking an after party in the parking lot is possible.
