My firebox cracked clean into. I knew it was going to happen eventually because I saw the first crack a year ago. I use my egg a lot, and I do mean a lot. At least 4x a week. Well I took it up to the mothership and they gave me a new firebox and a grate. Free! Man, what customer service! I plan to spend money there every month. I will send my wife in though because she can stop on her way home from work. Long way for me to drive!

The new firebox has an expansion joint in it. The new grate looks thicker and more solid. I expect them to last a long time!

i just got a new fire grate and a new fire box myself i it is always good to go to the mothership i spent some loot while i was there but i expected that
