1 head of Lettuce, washed and shredded
½ Cup Olive Oil, hot
½ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbs Sugar, as needed
1 Red Onion, peeled and chopped (to garnish)
Instructions**"Wilt" the lettuce with the hot oil in a large metal bowl.
(CAUTION: DEALING WITH OIL IS VERY DANGEROUS. MAKE SURE LETTUCE IS
DRY AND ROOM-TEMPERATURE TO AVOID SPLATTERS.) Add vinegar. Add sugar
as needed to offset acidity. Garnish with onion, chill and serve.
