Great Chili

Ingredients

• 2 Tbs Salad Oil• &#188 tsp chili powder
• 2 &#189 lb Lean beef chuck (cubed) or Ground chuck• 1 &#189 tsp ground cumin
• 1 Can Good Beer• 1 tsp salt
• 1 &#189 Cup Water• &#189 tsp crushed oregano leaves
• 1 Can 8 oz whole tomatoes (crushed)• &#189 tsp crushed garlic
• 1 Cup 8 oz tomato sauce• &#189 tsp paprika
• 1 Can 4 oz chopped green chillies (undrained)• &#189 tsp black ground pepper
• &#189 Cup chopped green bell pepper• 1/8  tsp red ground pepper
• &#189 Cup chopped onions

Instructions

In a large pot, heat oil and brown meat well on all sides. Drain and add all other ingredients. Bring pot to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Stir occasionally and add a little water if needed. Simmer for 3 hours before serving. Really good if you let it sit in the fridge over night and re-heat the next day.
