Autumn Apple Loaf

• &#189 Cup butter• 2 Cup all purpose flour
• 1 Cup white sugar• 1 tsp baking powder
• 2 eggs• &#189 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp vanilla extract• &#189 tsp salt
• 1 Cup apples - peeled, cored and grated• &#189 Cup chopped walnuts or pecans
• Dash cinnamon

InstructionsPreheat oven to 350. Grease one 9x5x3 loaf pan.
Mix flour, baking power, soda, salt and nuts.
In large bowl, beat butter, sugar and egg until smooth. Add second egg, an beat well. Stir in vanilla. Stir in grated apples. Pour flour mixture into batter. Stir only until moistened. Scape into loaf pan.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes, then remove from pan. Place on rack to cool.NotesNumber of Servings: Time to Prepare:
