Backup Egg

I find the large too small for larger parties, and either need a second unit or an XL. I am thinking a secant cooker would be better as I can either double up or do different temp cooks at the same time. I was looking at the BBQ Galore house brand Globe Cafe as a possible backup. Does anyone know anything about this unit? It is on sale for 599 with table and cover.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I did a quick search and found 2 hits. One was a parts list and the other was vague about who the manufacturer was. This alone would make me nervous.

It also appears that doesn't solve your capacity issue. Go buy the XL and be happy!

It does solve my capacity issue, as when I get them both going it doubles it. I too worry as no there is little to no feedback to be found.

If you are happy with the Egg why switch? Buy another large. It doubles your space, can cook at 2 different temps, and you have accessories to fit the second one without buying any others.

While I love my four eggs, there are other cookers that cook just as well, and are a bargain. I have one of these, and it's exactly like my large egg:
