Is there a most popular or home-quarters for hotel near the Speedway? Last year we were not at popular location. Anyone congregating this year? Hopefully will be there Friday and Saturday nights.

Does anyone know when the tickets will go on sale?

If past history is an indicator the tickets should go on sale in the next week or two. (usually on or after Aug 1)

Last year there really wasn't a host hotel. Not sure about this year, but camping was a blast... :);)

Thinking about camping. So my question is, was there a lot of tent camping? We don't have a trailer or an RV and are happy tenters :). Thanks for any info.

Yes there were tent campers in the infield area. We were in our camper so we did not go to that area. Maybe others who tent camped will chime in... :)

We had a blast tent camping last year. There were a decent amount of people and it was like 500' to the eggfest. I'm sure there will be more campers this year since last year was the first year at the speedway. We'll be camping on the infield again.

Great picture...last year was tons of fun but as more people warm to the idea of a huge Eggparty, each year should get better & better...woo hoo... ;):)
