We are lucky to have good weather here:

I tried some ground chicken breasts, cream cheese, rub, and the bacon:

Did you start with raw chicken?

  • Yes pound down a chicken breast cut to size and wrap the pepper and cheese up inside the chicken roll and toothepick then wrap the bacon around kinda a inside out ABT

I like the sound of an inside out! I ground the breasts and made them from the outside in (they were raw but cooked for over an hour)...

    Looks good!

I've always used sausage in my ABT's... ground chicken definitely seems like a healthier option :D

Now that I have a meat grinder, I have had good success with ground chicken. However, sausage sounds like a great option next time!
