Gasket solution???

Gasket solution Here is a new solution to the gasket failure we all know about. Looks like it could have some potential.

    Interesting idea and I wonder about continually having to remove.

    3 or so years ago I purchased a Spider for the large and do my searing down next to the lump. Since then I have never had to replace the felt gasket in over 3 years. Other than higher temperature pizza cooks or a clean burn the felt gasket works fine.
