    What a great post, Jason.

The shrimp alfredo looks amazing. And homemade pasta? Wow!

Love the pics of Caden and the narrative made me die laughing. So cute. Thanks for sharing.

thank you! here is the pasta recipe....

    7 oz. white flour
    3.5 oz. semolina flour
    3 eggs
    1 tbs olive oil
    pinch of salt

that makes on pound. what you see is three pounds.

i mix it with the kitchen aid mixer and then wrap it in saran wrap for 30-45 minutes and then run it through the ka pasta attachment.

it takes about an hour and fifteen minutes (if you roll it out after a half hour) to do one pound.

Wow, seeing those pics make me wonder what my boy will be like when he is one years old. He is only 6 weeks old right now and changes every day. You best believe I'm goign to do a monster blow out party for his 1 year b-day.

The fresh pasta looks amazing as well. Post the recipe on how to make it if you don't mind.

Jason, the photo story of Caden will be something you will look back on 15-20 years from now and chortle over. That poor cake. I can just see him handling the pasta, too.

Your handmade pasta was a labor of love and that dinner will ALWAYS be a special memory.
