Just an update for our Eggfest on July 23. Reservations are coming in and it looks like we're going to have a nice bunch of people, many cooking. Here's an update on the festivities etc.
Friday nights Pizza Master Class is sold out.
Saturday 9 am "light those eggs"
During the day we'll have these demos and maybe more:
Our Big Green Egg distributor rep (and long time Egghead) Walter will do a demonstration for newbies entitled "getting to know your Big Green Egg".
Our own Chef Dave (yes, we have an actual Chef on staff with an actual degree from a prestigious culinary school) will be doing a "Grilling on Egg" demo.
Local Egghead Jason Szilli (fornio on this forum) will be demonstrating and cooking the Bacon EGGsplosion.
Our own Toby will be demonstrating how to upgrade/change/replace ur gasket on your BGE ... how to disassemble, prep, install the nomex gasket, reassemble and tweak for max performance.
And the SGP will be baking some nice pizza pies for everybody to taste.
If you've been to the MidEggLantic Fest in previous years you know how much of a crazy day it was because it was also a "store promotion" day. This year, we are dropping the "store promotion" part so we will have a more personal , cozy , "get to know each other" day. Also, there are still some demo eggs available and during the fest, participants will get special pricing on everything in our store.
