temp controller on sale

Auber Instruments had their controller for the large on sale, so I bought one. I don't need the controller to temp my meat, as I have a probe thermometer already. With shipping it was only 138 and some change. It was a no-brainer to me. Anybody use one of these and aware of how they work. After reading the naked whiz's review, it certainly appealed to me. Thanks.
