Well, Dawn showed up and she's beautiful.
I set up the egg last night so all I had to do was light the starter cubes this morning. When stabilized at 250 degrees I threw chunks of hickory under the platesetter and then set in the beef. In a few minutes I had smoke trailing out with that wonderful smell.[p]The weather here is great for BBQing- sunny and warm. The highs in the 40's, man, were going to melt the snow today! Did you see the moon? Wow! Everything looks good. I'll post a picture later today on the outcome of my BBQ beef cook.
