Getting ready to start getting it together, but I'm wondering if it's too early to start. I've only ever seen it put together at around 2 in the morning. Will my timing impact the taste?

It is best when it spends two days in the marinade. Make sure your kecap manis is the sweet one not the salty.

I had his satay after it sat at luggage claim for 32 hours at 75 degrees. And, per usual, someone else cooked it.

Gonna miss the 2 day mark. Trying to get it in for at least 20 hours, then I get the leftovers! Is true, he did the prep, at least that's what everyone said all that pounding in the hotel room was from. From what I gather it was a big crowd, so i hope that was the case. :P

Sorry I tested a new drink recipe and I think it's making me sassier than usual. Found the recipe for a Moose Fart. Whiskey isn't my favorite taste, so is not my new favorite drink, but it sure will knock you for a loop.

I have no pictures of that evening cause I could not touch my camera...... I was meat drippings up to my elbows..... that is what happens when you spend 5 hours pounding little pork cutlets thin enough to suit Mr Little Steven....... there must have been 24 or 25 double packages of pork tenderloins...... :blink: I still have not cooked a tenderloin since that night..... he is a Master.... at delegating or at least looking pitiful enough that everyone THINKS he can't do it.....next year we are putting him in a room with all his junk and NO goes in and he does not come out till it is done.... the preparty will roll on with out him naaa then we would not have anything to talk about......
