Power finally back on here. Many areas damaged in the state. Too early to tell much. Doesn't seem as bad a joplin for any given town, but many towns hit.

Our prayers to all affected. The storms this year have been terrible.

We have a high probability for tornados today here in St Louis. We've taken a couple of direct hits since New Years Eve but nothing like Joplin or Alabama/Georgia.

All ok here (35 miles east of Joplin). The people of Joplin and the other areas need lots of things. Prayers, donations, etc..

Sometimes these things make the desert look pretty appealing, Randy. We managed to dodge another one (or five)last night. There was a report of a train locomotive being knocked over.

St. Louis got some BIG hail, strong winds and a couple of funnel clouds, but we're okay. Not like those poor folk in Joplin.
  • Lawton eggs are still standing...we had some hail/rain/thunder/lightning and very windy but it went northeast and hit Chickasha..only 45 minutes up the road from us!

But we're doing fine here..thanks for asking AZRP :)
