    Depending on the length of the poking piece. I have one that is a little hard to fit in my small as it was made for a large.

    i have two sizes one for my large and one for my small.... best thing i have found is shop vac from lowes.. get 2 1/2 gallon or 5 gallons vac... they are cheap and work well... i think mine was on sale for 25 dollars or so..

    I use a ash tool for my large in my small with no problems.

    I have a long ash tool/grate lifter from my XL. I use it in my Lg too.
