Put the brisket on early morning and spent the day with my wife and boys doing yard work. Sat down after a long day of hard work to a fantastic meal. Although the brisket turned out great, I should have followed the wisdom here and sprinkled on some raw sugar.

Burnt ends are the gold at the end of the rainbow!
  • Saturday was my first attempt at burnt ends and they are now favorite thing on the egg. I wish there was a way to just cook burnt ends.

Thanks Jason. We reheated it with a little bit of warm Coffee yesterday...I figured with coffee in the rub it wouldn't be a bad idea.
