Googled "best place to eat in Abilene, TX" and 2 bbq and 1 catfish. Place came up with 5/5 stars - went for Catfish Corner

Called for directions; took us by Morrison's Supply (sponser of Athen's Eggfest - just to keep on topic ;) )

BEST fried catfish and fantistic compimentary onion rings and fried pickles (1st time to try)!!! As good as Nannie's !!!

REALLY GOOD homemade Ranch Dressing - heavy herbs - not usually a fan of Ranch, so that's another star.

Almost half way home. Now for a nap as my escort drives :)
