I am going to cook 4 pork butts on a Large Egg later today. Is it better to put all 4 on the grid at the same level or put 2 on the grid and 2 on a raised grid?
Do the butts on the raised grid cook differently because the temperature is a little different at the level of the raised grid? Does it matter?
Thanks in advance!

You can put two or three on the grid then place a grid on top of the butts and put two or one on top.

They will cook slightly different on raised grids due to the temp. Your other option s to turn the butts on their sides and cook them "fat side out" and you could easily fit all 4 on the lower grid. I would do them on 1 grid if it was me and they fit.

I decided to just cook three 8.5 pounders and they all fit on the grid. Thanks for the advice.__________ Chris
