Marinated a hunk of sirloin flap meat in soy, pineapple & garlic for less than 30 minutes; grilled it on my Mini w/some onions & peppers for tacos. Oh, and I grilled some pineapple for a salsa, too. Tasty stuff. A good reminder of how a simple, quick marinade can deliver great flavor.

that looks great--love all the color! did you use any smoking wood?

No smoking wood--it was a pretty quick cook (less than 15 mins). The soy gives the meat a nice, dark crust. I like lots of color on a plate--it's an easy way to gauge if you're eating enough veggies & getting your vitamins. If the plate is all brown & white (aka meat & starch), it's not optimum nourishment.
