i actually made some side dishes last night....

usually sides consist of a salad or asparagus. last night, i made a bunch of sides....


i also got a visual of what "blue rare" is when i cut my steak. taking into account the sushi i had for lunch that was raw salmon and tuna, i really didn't have any "cooked" protiens yesterday.

    it was the best side on the plate. the worst was the chinese eggplant. the skin was quite bitter this time. i don't recall having the skin so bitter before.
