THE CHICKEN HOTEL CORNWALL UK
Welcome to The Chicken Hotel!
A new and exciting hotel in Helston (Cornwall) exclusively for our feathered friends!
Want Chickens but don’t know what you’d do if you went away for a weekend or on holiday? Well you can let your chickens have a short holiday break in The Chicken Hotel!
We offer an economical chicken boarding service similar to a cattery or kennels.
You can now find us on facebook and twitter. Tell your friends about us, become a fan!
Accommodation comprises of coops to house up to 6 chickens or 8 bantams with open air en-suite facilities. All accommodation is on a full-board basis with all-you-can-eat buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner (including drinks). In the morning, as they exit their penthouse suites, our guests will be greeted by beautiful panoramic vistas of rolling green Cornish countryside.
The health, safety and security of our guests is our top priority. To deter jealous foxes, The Chicken Hotel grounds are surrounded by mains powered electric fencing. Each morning our chicken guests will find a private patch of grass available to them in their own secure run areas attached to their coops. The separate runs ensure that the chickens are safe, while at the same time providing them with space for eating grass and scratching around in the open. At the same time they are able to see and chat with other chicken guests staying in nearby chicken hotel units which helps to reduce stress.
Our guests rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each visit. Upon entering the hotel all guests will be pampered with a complimentary mite powder to ensure the continued good health of our feathered friends. The mite powder is organic and uses only plant oils as an active ingredient. It doesn't taint the eggs and the treatment lasts for up to 6 weeks.
If you would like to leave any treats, or food for special dietary requirements, then we will be more than happy to give give them to your chickens.

Chick-in and chick-out:
To minimise distress to our guests, and for ease of handling, we recommend that you box up your chickens after they go to roost in the evening. Collecting at a similar time of the day will also help you to transport and settle them when they arrive home.
With a morning collection we would keep your chickens inside until you arrive to pick them up. Any more convenient time can be arranged at the time of booking.
