Shrimp & Scallop Pasta

Today I tried a new recipe for shrimp, but I had to make a couple of adjustments.
I started by putting olive oil, fresh thyme, rosemary, garlic, pepper flakes and S&P in an aluminum pan and putting it on the egg for about 20 minutes to flavor the oil.
Then I added a pound and a half of nice shrimp and put it back on the egg for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, I cooked two batches of scallops inside
Finally I added all this to some noodles for a great Sunday night pasta dish. Sorry -- I did not get any pics of the finished product. but SWMBO declared it a winner!

how did you find the oil after you flavoured it? was it heavily flavoured with the ingredients you used or more of a subtle flavour?context is important -

That is a hard question. It took on more flavor than I expected, but not what I would call strong. I wil definitely do it again.
