Making new Friends (pic heavy)

My bride and I wanted to contribute something to a Chinese Auction, so here is what we did, and the results of it. Most of the food was cooked on my Large BGE: pretzels, rolls, peppers and onions, sausage, and NY strip steaks. The potatoes are my wife's creation and were done in the oven. This is a fantastic way to make an auction interesting and to increase your circle of friends.

The item bid on at the auction:

Great idea. Keep wanting to try potatoes like that!
  • A great idea of how to give. The food looks great, and I'm sure the recipients loved it.
Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 6 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Uglydog, what a great addition to a fund raising auction! I'm sure the winning bidders had not only a great meal, but a fabulous time as well. :)
