I seem to be looking for more things to try in my newish cast iron dutch oven(s).
Tonight was my very simple stuffed peppers. Oddly enough, red peppers were cheaper here than green. Not the norm here for sure!
Anyway, stuffed and then in the DO with some extra ground beef in a simple tomato sauce/tomato juice gravy. Cooked for a few hours at 350. Internal of peppers was around 200 when I pulled them.
With a nice piece of buttered toast, these were really, really good!
