So this eggfest at Chef JJ's Backyard looks pretty awesome. Who is all interested? I need approval from the wife, but I should be able to make it. Between this and Peoria, this spring is going to freaking rule!

  • Looking forward to it, since it will be my first eggfest.
Just under a 2 hour drive for me, so it's an easy one to make.

Yes, and it will be my first egg experience. But I've seen the Gen Con folks and the Feast of the Hunters Moon re-enactors, so I guess I'm prepared.

Chef JJ's location is awesome. I hosted a private party there about 18 months ago and the food and ambiance are the best. Trying to boondoggle a business trip back to Indy so I can cook for this event.

To TNT54: Feast of the Hunter's Moon re-enactors can prepare you for just about anything.

Hey Tim, Cindy and I attended their first annual eggfest. I missed last year and don't believe I'll make it this year. I will have to agree with you they do throw a great fest. Have a great time if you go. Chef JJ and his Sous Chef Jenna know their stuff. ;)
  • Count us in!
  • Gonna be in Portland at a conference May 14. Maybe next year.

I may go, my wife and and a couple friends want me to cook. I'm not sure I'm ready to take that on yet and the other problem is I travel quite frequently and often without much notice. I'd really like to get another Egg too and demo is the way to go, IMO. Don't forget or perhaps you may not know Sullivans will also have their Eggfest on August 27th.
  • Go for it! If you have to bail you have to bail, but you should sign up to cook.
