I think Guarnier and Heffron were from Philly too.

    That was such a great series. I just watched it again this past fall.

    Sad to hear of his passing, but the WWII vets are far and few between these days. Echo Company was a true group of heroes. They laid the groundwork for the 101st to become one of the elite divisions in the Army.
