If you're looking for a new potato dish...here's an awesome hash brown casserole. It's also a great breakfast dish for a big crowd.
Hash Brown Potato Casserole
2 lb. frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano (optional)
1 10-oz. can cream of celery soup
1 pint sour cream
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded (1 cup if less cheese is desired)
2 cups cornflakes, crushed
1/4 cup butter, melted
Combine all ingredients except topping. Mix well and pour into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Combine crumbs and butter; sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
