OK I am about ready to take the plunge. I have, have enough of listening and reading to know that I am missing out on a great deal of good barbecue. I have looked on the net and found 2 sites that I may order my egg from. Seeing as I have all you eggsperts I figured I would ask you for your advice. The 2 sites that I saw are America's Best Barbecue at http://www.americasbestbbq.com/ and The Fireside Shop at http://www.thefiresideshop.com/. I am open to any and all opinions.[p]On another note I have seen on this forum a good deal information on the XL Egg but not the information that I am looking for. So to all you XL Egg testers I would like to know if the eggcessories like the grill extender, nest and other items of BBQ delight will also be available for XL Egg. Anyway I have to get ready to start planning my New Years meal on my gasp!!!!!! old gas grill. Please keep up the good work as this site and forum are GREAT!![p]May you all have a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year[p]John

    Johnny B.,
You're gonna LOVE the egg and this forum. So, when you do purchase it - come back and let us know how it's going. [p]As far as where to buy...
Not sure where you are located - but if you are looking for online dealers check out Naked Whiz's site for some links. The thing is - as long as you go with a BGE reseller you'll be fine. BGE stands behind their product and their customer service is incredible![p]http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramiclinks.htm[p]I'll have to let the others chime in on the XL - don't have one.[p]Compare your prices as well as 'EGG'-cessories included.[p]Good Luck!

Johnny B., make sure to check in your local area for hearth & grill shops that may carry BGE's. I was actually suprised to find not one, but two local retailers in my area. After some comparisons I went with the one that threw in about $40 worth of free eggcessories. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably even drive 100 miles each way to get my egg![p]I can't comment on the XL.
  • Johnny B.,[p]I bought my Large from a website out of Louisiana called BBQGUYS.com. Free shipping, plus with the nest and wood shelves it was still a hundred cheaper then any where else I found. Hope this helps.[p]
