I'm cooking 4 butts tonight. I have an LBGE with the following setup (bottom to top): spider, BGE pizza stone, drip pan and my CGS adjustable rig setup for two levels, of course. The butts weigh anywhere from 8 to 10 lbs.
My question regards placement - where should I place the smaller butt: top or bottom level? in other words, where will the temperature be highest?
Also, since I've never done more than one at-a-time, any other advice as to the differences would be appreciated. I wish you could all be here to taste the results!
