Made my second turkey on the egg. First one I did was just a quick smoke with some cherry wood and it turned out very well. Convinced three other relatives to buy eggs they liked it so well.
Second one was mad max's turkey and cooked this one for thanksgiving. Also, turned out very well. Got a bit to much rosemary in with the herbs that I used so it was a little strong. Otherwise excellent. Got rave reviews again.
Thanks Mad Max for the very detailed directions it made it easy to make. The gravy was also excellent.
