Semi turbo butt

Yesterday I did two 6.5# butts trying to get done a little sooner I kept the temp mostly about 300*. I was not as happy with the results as I always am with the lower and slow cooks. The texture varied from mushy to almost tuff or not done yet with the internal temps being from 190 to 205. taste was good had a good bark just will not try this again if avoidable
